Position Status: Fulltime, 40 hours/week

Work Schedule: Must be available for 8-hour shifts within business hours (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM); schedule may vary.

How this role transforms workplaces:

The Talent Partner / Human Resource Representative will serve as the primary client recruitment contact in managing and filling open requisitions, as well as supporting the Human Resources Helpdesk in various duties as assigned.

  • Performs efficient recruiting activities, guide candidates through all stages of the hiring process, ensuring an optimal candidate experience.
  • Develops relationships with leaders and stakeholders to understand business priorities and required knowledge, skills and capabilities to fill client’s hiring needs in a timely manner.
  • Identifies and develops innovative recruitment strategies, community partnerships and relationships to attract a diverse group of candidates. Evaluates job posting, job description and interview questions to ensure inclusive language.
  • Administers the initial full-cycle recruiting process, which includes screening resumes, conducting phone screens, coordinating interviews, making the job offer and conducting pre-employment screening (pre-interview integrity screen, checking references, coordinating background check and drug screen).
  • Maintains accurate documentation and administration of hiring process, including applications for employment, reference and background checks, pre-employment screening, offers of employment. Tracks and reports recruitment metrics to leadership.
  • Lead onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires, which includes coordinating pre-hire logistics, facilitating onboarding tasks, and supporting managers with the 30/60/90-day review process by tracking timelines, distributing forms, and sending proactive reminders to encourage timely and meaningful check-ins.
  • Provide coverage for a centralized HR help desk, serving as a first point of contact for employee questions and ensuring a responsive, service-oriented experience; escalate complex issues to appropriate HR team members.
  • Assists the HR team with special projects, as needed.

Who you’ll work with:

HR Business Partner, Xenium Specialists, Lane Transit District HR team, management and employees

Required experience and skills:

  • Two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; or bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university combined with at least three years of applicable experience. 
  • Two to three years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work independently.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Must demonstrate trustworthiness, confidentiality, initiative and flexibility.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills required.
  • Passion for managing and delivering HR services.

Xenium HR is committed to providing a competitive compensation package. The starting salary for this role ranges from $27.64-$35.47/hour based on skills/knowledge, years of experience, and ensuring pay equity within the organization. The hiring team will share more details regarding compensation based on your experience and location during the interview process.
